I...First of all, I love that you're doing this. In all of the hype and trend-setting, the essence of dystopian as a form of social commentary has been completely lost to gimmicks and love triangles. It bugs. And I WISH I could recommend a LGBTQ dystopian for you. Or maybe one where the main characters weren't white and skinny. One of my WIPs is a dystopian in a female-dominate world where bi-sexuality is commonplace and expected. Also the main character is Indian. But that's only halfway done so.....Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7374075192901571152.post-74096989317617540452012-06-15T09:16:42.007-07:002012-06-15T09:16:42.007-07:00Great review. :D I can't wait for more of the ...Great review. :D I can't wait for more of the project. Dystopian books are some of my favourites.

As for LGBTQ, "Sunblood" by Maria Mora. I can't vouch if it's any good as I just found it online. As for the rest environmental and dietary factors matter. You have a mix of good and bad traits, and assign points to both. So is a "high" score an indication that the book was great or that it sucked? Wouldn't it make more sense to have a checklist of solely bad or solely good points and then rate from there?

I love your reviews though. =D And it would be awesome to see a dystopian novel with a lgbtaq character. (I hope to write a novel like that someday!)Cheyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07148179129096205753noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7374075192901571152.post-62526503713014936892012-06-14T10:22:30.301-07:002012-06-14T10:22:30.301-07:00P.S. In cases like Divergent and Matched, should you maybe show minus 11 to indicate that the book was only good or strong on one bingo point, and weak on all the others? When I saw that both these books had 11/12 scores, my first assumption was that you thought they were great. Then I read the reviews ...!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7374075192901571152.post-22656290858727703762012-06-14T05:59:25.916-07:002012-06-14T05:59:25.916-07:00I completely agree. Talk about a loss for the publisher and Ally will never get another advance like that, let alone make any royalties off this trilogy if what I've heard is true.KT Granthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15958121742156171756noreply@blogger.com
